Citric acid monohydrate food, is a colorless crystals, outwardly similar to sugar. The main applications of this product are:
Confectionery industry.Here, citric acid is used as an acidifier and flavor enhancer.
Beverage production. In alcoholic and soft carbonated and non-carbonated drinks, citric acid is added to give them a feeling of freshness. In addition, it is a synergist, i.e. a substance that enhances the action of antioxidants, such as, for example, ascorbic acid.
